This Saturday: Get Hate Out of Portland
On Saturday, September 26th, the Proud Boys are holding a malicious rally here in Portland. As usual, these are out-of-towners looking for a fight, here to try to intimidate our city. But what's new is that this could be considered a rehearsal for potential vigilante activity after the November Elections, as well as a quest for revenge for the death of a member of Patriot Prayer. [Or so they say. One suspects they wanted to do this anyway. — Your faithful editor]
PopMob and others are organizing zones of protest so that Portlanders can clearly show that our city stands for social justice and against fascism, and that right wing extremists have no place here.
Every single person matters, so reach out to people you know to help mobilize a large turnout for safer counterprotests! We are urging folks to join XRPDX in support of the Portland Labor Against Fascism contingent.
